Logging daily activities

Record naps, meals, and notes so families see the day — and get an automatic summary.

Teachers log the day from the classroom so families stay in the loop without you texting each one.

Log an activity

  1. Open a classroom (or the Activity area) and add an entry.
  2. Pick a type — Meal, Nap, Potty, Mood, Photo, Incident, or Note — fill in the details, and tap Save Activity. Log it for one child or the whole room. (Photo captures a Moment for the children you're logging — no need to re-pick them. Incident also writes the private compliance record.)
  3. It appears instantly in that child's Today view in the family portal.

It rolls up automatically

Everything logged today is gathered into each child's daily summary email:

  • It sends about 30 minutes after the child is checked out (the normal path).
  • If a child is never checked out, an evening fallback at ~7:30 pm (your center's local time) sends it anyway — so no family is left without a recap.

See Notifications & the daily summary to turn it on or off.

Photos count too

Snap a photo with the Photo activity (or Add a Moment from a classroom) and it's shared as a Moment to the tagged children's families — showing up in the same daily view and the summary.
